Estelle and Chloe are being held captive by the Folans who try to force Estelle into marrying Jake Folan, the eldest son. Chloe does not share Estelle's prestigious background and Estelle must find a way to save her friend from being sacrificed to Morrigan, a Celtic war goddess, worshipped by the Folans. Estelle and Chloe are convinced that Estelle's grandfather, Lord Oliver Dunnet, will send someone to rescue them. A new drug hits Scotland - street name: Coyote Peyote. DCI Des Hearn and his team are under pressure to shut down the dealers. At the same time, the mutilated bodies of two Asian men are found inside blue plastic barrels dumped in the Clyde. They suspect the men were members of a weird cult. Could the cult and the new drug be connected?
