Daia is next in line for a high position in her community. She is ready to begin taking on her responsibilities, when the ruler comes to her with a strange request that violates everything the community stands for with no logical explanation. Daia embarks on a journey to find out the true motive behind the request. Due to unexpected events, she wounds up wandering much farther than anticipated and discovers lies and secrets that put her life and the well-being of the community at risk.
