Little Ruth is the sweetest chicken but not the fastest. When it's time for egg laying she has to run really fast to the nesting box.




One day she doesn't make it in time and the egg falls on the ground and shatters.




She is upset and tries to explain, and the other chickens tell her off. But Little Ruth is everyone's friend, and they know she didn't mean to drop her egg.




Little Ruth is worried, will the others forgive her?
