Take our history as we know it today, but reimagine it as if super-powered individuals had been present throughout... As if they had caused certain events and prevented others... As they had endured the same struggles and persecutions of other misunderstood minorities... As each generation became more powerful than the last, in an increasingly conscious and civilized society, evermore industrialized, regulated, and globalized... As they, being humans nonetheless, draw from the same well of emotions as us all: ambition, apathy, pride, spite, contempt, conviction, doubt, shame, anxiety, fear, love, guilt, greed, vanity, courage, heartache, and hope. This is the world of Supers.
