This book is designed for young beginner/elementary students. Students will be introduced to the keys, musical alphabet, placement, recognition of groups of 2 and 3 black keys, key patterns associated with the groups of 2 and 3. Student will also be introduced to the quarter note, half note, dotted half note and whole note. Treble clef and bass clef will be introduced with the notes surrounding middle c position. The student will then write the notes of middle C position for each note value for repetition. This theory book incorporates fun activities with emphasis on piano theory surrounding a theme of unicorns, magic and rainbows.
