BE THAT CONFIDENT GIRL is a handbook which contains resources and tools that if used diligently can effectively support the confidence building of tween and teenage girls. BE THAT CONFIDENT GIRL is proposing a pragmatic approach to assessing and addressing the teenage girl's self-confidence gaps such as: -Self-assessment;-Closing the identified confidence gaps through self-coaching;-Anticipating and closing the confidence gaps through appropriate parenting techniques such as role-modeling, coaching, mentoring and counseling;-Seeking expert/experience counseling services to close self-confidence gaps and repair any damage caused;-Peer mentoring. The proposed tools for self-assessment are user-friendly as well as the suggested tips.
