Heinrich Julius Gausser, the boar of the vale, youngest son of the family who runs the Northern Territory of Astor.
Has been sent on a job by his older brother Leon, to find out what is causing disappearances along the Mountain Vale Road.

On his journey, he discovered trails of destruction along the road.
Along with a mysterious black opalescent feather.
After reaching the Oakvale he reunites with his old war friend Tyr and exchanges information of what they know.

Every night he is greeted with strange dreams of his father and a mountain.
Resting after the long journey, Heinrich is woken the next day by a fight outside the fort.

Will he be able to overcome these awakening problems?

This Fantasy short story is Book Two of the series known as the Tales of Zersha.
And is set in a country known as Astor, one of the three main countries on the large island.
