This book is the book I wish my children had when I was battling breast cancer. It looks at a family's journey with breast cancer from the point of view of a Kindergarten age child. Most of this book is taken directly from conversations with my daughter during and after my diagnosis and treatment. The purpose of this book is to introduce children to what happens with cancer diagnosis and treatment in an accessible way. A child facing the cancer diagnosis of a parent or loved one will have a lot of questions and fears, it is my hope that this book will help ease their fears and open doors for conversations between adult and child that are helpful to both sides. The images in this book are actual snapshots and selfies from our journey (altered to look like sketches).
