The Demon Within My stories delve into the sense that each of us is alone in our world. Our struggles and challenges exist within our own minds, often unknown and unknowable by those around us. The horror in my stories involves the dark hole of emptiness which can fester in all of us. As such, my stories rarely contain gore or violence. Rather, they are about the blackness within our souls which threatens to well out and destroy us. Note that I have begun my second set of nine stories. I'd love to hear feedback on them as I work on them. When I finish the second set of nine books, they will be compiled together in a compilation titled - I bet you can guess - Lisa's Dark Gripping Short Tales 2. I support battered women's shelters.
