This book is based on a true story. It is a case of history repeating itself. An actual article in a Pensacola newspaper July 12, 1957, read; "While making his final check of the evening, the Roberts Cemetery groundskeeper found that a slab of concrete had been removed from one of the graves. The casket had been opened exposing the body of a young girl buried seven months earlier. Her clothes were disheveled and "her body had been re-positioned." - Three days later in the Whitmire Cemetery, it happened again. This time a husband who was visiting the grave of his recently deceased wife, found that her grave had been desecrated and her body removed. All indications led the police and sheriff's departments to believe that it was done by the same person." Sixty-two years later it happens again. Our story begins here. (If you don't believe that it actually happened? Google it.)
