Aaron is dead, but there is no time to mourn as he is quickly reborn in a human-made paradise. In this utopia there is no sickness, no drudgery, and no pain. Here, individuals have perfect freedom. Despite the beauty and exhilaration of his new surroundings, Aaron soon questions what it means to be in paradise but not in heaven. If his conscious mind is stuck in this paradise, does that mean his soul, the true light within, is trapped there as well? Aaron begins to fight to leave paradise, to fight for his soul.
