Daydreaming in Tandem with the Universe
Punxsutawney R Waters
Punxsutawney is the engineer of his own misery. After a handful of accidental head injuries knock him loose from reality, he finds himself in a world of his own design while fighting a coma. Though he may be the architect, he is subject to its rules, nonsensical or hostile as they may be. Taking place inside a cake with infinite layers, the characters he meets urge him towards a mysterious and confusing denouement. A cast of quarreling "Royalty" manufacture a series of events to build an army, with Punxsutawney the unwitting prize due to his power. Their destination is the Great Conference Room on the Layer Dryffe. Punxsutawney is held hostage in his own mind. As he fights with and against his imagination, he draws closer to breaking free - back to consciousness, and hopefully, to sanity. What is fiction and what is reality? The boundaries blur in Daydreaming in Tandem with the Universe.
