This children's book is a collection of coloured illustrated 'Tales, Rhymes, Poems & Fables' suitable for children and adults of all ages. Stories and verse are illustrated in colour and presented in over ninety pages of make-believe and humour. The book takes you through a satirical journey of twenty stories and verse. These include: 'The Green Monster'; 'Dino'; 'The Hole', featuring Two Rabbits and a Mole; followed by 'Monty the Donkey'; Emma Pig - who with her Dad - decides it would be fun to dig a big 'Hole in the Garden'. Inspired by a visit to Nostell Priory 'The 98-Foot Tree', and its sequel 'The Four Giants' introduces you to Finn the Detective. A rhyme about 'Morals' enables you to explore the meaning of the term. This leads into a tale about 'Three Cats' who explore a neighbourhood cul-de-sac. The first half of the 21.5 x 27.94cm paperback book concludes with the 'Future of the ABC'. Throughout the book, the author hopes to have captured moments of make-believe and play through tales, rhymes and poems: that in the second half include 'The Nurse'; 'Growing Up'; 'Twenty-Two; 'Weeping Willow'; 'Lost Socks'; 'Macey Mouse'; and 'Ripple' an adopted Donkey living at the Leeds Donkey Sanctuary. Last but not least Rhymes entitled 'Fables at the Table'; 'The Man in the Moon'; and 'The Cake Monster' are presented for your pleasure to share with your children and Grandchildren.
