These lessons have many illustrations, stories from Scripture, stories from modern life, and some pictures that add life to the lessons.. I have placed many Scripture references in the text so you can check out the truth. These lessons were given as children's features or sermons and were written over the span of about 20 years. Imagine a scene. We are in the Garden of Eden. It is the sixth day of creation, and God has just finished making a man out of dust. The man is lying on the garden floor. He is perfect but dead. God leans down and lifts the man's head and breathes into his nostrils the breath of life, and he comes alive. God calls him Adam. Genesis 2:7 Imagine another scene: There is Moses, David, John, Mark, Paul and many more men. They are each sitting by their own desk with clean parchment spread out before them. They pick up their pens and begin to write. They are inspired and are writing the Word of God. God stoops down and lifts their parchments and breathes on them, and they become alive. 2 Timothy 3:16 says that all Scripture is God breathed. It is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword. It is my hope and prayer that God will breathe on these lessons taken from Holy Scriptures and will make them alive and give added meaning to your life's story.
