A lot of people I met on my coaching path, associates coaching with reprimand and control, not support and help. For this reason, I decided to write this short textbook. I hope, that it will help change the perception of this great development tool. The purpose of this book is to show the main rules concerning the course of coaching sessions, the answer to the question of how coaching works, what it is, what the types of coaching are and how it can help me. To present the topic in an interesting form, I have decided to write this very short textbook in the form of reports from fictional sessions with a fictitious person, that can be a classic representation of someone who needs help that coaching is able to give. In no way is this a full description of what happens during coaching. There is no place for it, nor possibilities. Each session is very individual and something unique. In addition to words, emotions arise. Body language, intonation, reveal much more than words alone can express. A coaches uses techniques, relevant questions, but is also guided by intuition, the need of the moment. Depending on the process stage other tools may be incorporated. That's why I encourage you to read the following chapters with the hope that after reading you will find answers to the questions; what is coaching? How it goes and most importantly: how can it be helpful for me? I encourage you to read it
