Sometimes, shedding one tear can heal so much. Sometimes one single tear can hold years of pain, and when it falls, there is relief. It's knowing that the pain will ease with that teardrop. That one tiny, solitary, and glittering tear can show we are human also. Not robots. Not cold hearted. Not dead. Not uncaring. Why then, do we hold them in? Because we think we will explode. We think we will completely self destruct. We think the pain will never end if we allow ourselves to cry. We think it will make us weak and vulnerable. Yet, there are tears of joy. Tears of happiness.
