If you are open but have questions about the Holy Spirit's Gifts, You may find the answers you are looking for inside. The Church is divided into three groups concerning the use of the "supernatural" gifts. Continuists believe they are still active in the congregation and practice them. Cessationists believe they are not active and teach against their use. Finally, there are those who are open to their use but are not actively pursuing them. These divisions exist in part because of several misunderstandings about the nature and operation of the gifts, terminology and a general mistrust of other parts of the Body. Paul Myrant spent half of his life as a cessationist and half as a continuist. Having observed both communities, Paul realized that there is confusion and misunderstandings over the nature of the nine "supernatural" gifts, what they are, and how they operate. Doctrinal differences remain stumbling blocks to unity. This book seeks to clear up these misunderstandings and resolve the issues that divide us. Paul re-examined critical texts and the overall philosophy he believed for many years. Careful consideration led him to be open to the use of the gifts. "I am not asking cessationists to become Pentecostals or Charismatics, but to look again and see the gifts in a new light." The Apostle Paul and Moses wanted everyone to operate in the gifts. Some of these gifts already operate in most congregations. Seen from a new perspective, perhaps the others will find their place in every congregation in the Ecclesia.
