It began the moment Winter "Winnie" Mooney collapsed in the middle of the football track at the local private school. Upon emergency inspection, MRI's and charts exhibit no evidence of a problem, thus labeling Winnie's predicament a complete anomaly. The 15-year-old girl finds herself locked in a physical state of paralysis, completely immobile, totally helpless, diagnostically terminal, and... fully conscious? In the race against time, Winnie is accompanied by three quarrelsome persons as she journeys throughout the various parts of her own brain in search of the solution that will save her life.
