Plastics especially Single-use plastics has become one of the most dangerous material in our environment today. Yet we consume the said material enormously. They are used as packaging materials in almost every product we needed in our daily lives. ususally they are thrown away after minutes of use like the plastic straw. Once in the environmnet, it will take several hundred to thousand of years before they decompose. They affect almost all areas of our ecosystem from the soil, water, wildlife and human health. Despite of our reliance of the single-use plastics, their are means where we can stop or at least minimize our use of it. Patronizing on the various eco-friendly and biodegradable options is one of the surest way we can reduce the accumulation of single-use plastic in the environment.
