QUIXOTIC

beyond all horizons
of distant skylines
where waves tenderly
caress, ebbing deep
bathed a celestial
mermaid, quixotic
her heavenly body
enchanting augury
upon the mermen of
surrealistic seas
synchronizing
mesmerizing
hypnotizing

feeling currents tremble
through giant ocean webs
mythical divers sink
tethered, ignited by
fires bled off turquoise
shoals electrical mist,
entranced tail twisted
trysts, hair spun myths
as twilight bobbins spin
passion reeling captives in
magnetizing
harmonizing
tranquilizing
