Albert has taken many female companions over his long existence and whenever he takes a companion he changes into the form of that species. He has been insectoid, white demon, and many others but lately he has made some very bad decisions about who he chooses for his companion and mate. He has found that Earth females have given him the greatest peace so he returns to the Earth system to search for another human companion. When he arrives, he finds the system has been invaded and a tremendous warship is there overseeing the many mechanical creatures they have put on Earth and Mars. Their goal is to kill every human and take the planets for themselves. The aliens have disabled every form of human technology and now the humans are fighting an asymmetric war. Albert knows they will never win the war without his assistance. He tells them they must hurry because his mind walking has told him that three more alien warships are on the way.
