Button Hollow Witchcraft Academy had a new school of graduates: young, beautiful, powerful. They were supposed to pick their familiars at the Familiar Emporium. None of them wanted Charlie. As it turned out, another witch had graduated, too: Matilda Greenbottom, middle-aged and pudgy, not at all welcome with her sister witches, who spurned her, too. When these two misfits find one another, Halloween is coming. So too is a warlock with a taste for revenge. The spell to stop him requires trick-or-treat candy... but the pretty witches won't give any to Charlie.
