Glenn Ingersoll
"Thousand" is an epic prose-poem that expresses the breadth of the inter-dimensional and inter-temporal deliberations of Glenn Ingersoll as his rotating protagonists go from body to body, from era to era, turning over every rock in the current universe along with many other proposed universes. The project features a great cast of characters that appear and reappear as the story of millennia of contemplations and observations unfolds. The project arises out of a commitment by the author to write a 100-word segment per day for one thousand days, which he gloriously achieved. Proust-like in its thoroughness and Christo-like in its ambition, this project moves both prose and poetry into possibilities that should find a home in both the digital ebook world and the traditional paperback world. Indeed, this work brings together the ancient world, the uncertain present and many speculative futures.
