O Lord Christ God, King of the Ages, and Creator of all mankind, I thank thee for all the benefits Thou hast conferred upon me, and for the communion of Thy most pure and quickening Mysteries. I entreat Thee, O Perfect One Who lovest mankind, to cherish me in Thy tabernacle and under the shadow of Thy wings. And grant that with a clear conscience, even at my last breath, I may worthily participate of Thy Holy Sacrament, for the remission of my sins, and unto life eternal. For Thou art the Bread of Life, the Fountain of all Holiness, the Giver of all good; and unto Thee do we ascribe glory, with the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, now and ever, world without end. Amen.
