The Nikon Coolpix P900 camera was originally announced to the public in March 2015. It was marketed as a superzoom digital bridge camera. It is equipped with an 83x zoom and will give a max 2000mm 35mm equivalent focal length which at the time represented the best zooming bridge camera until the successor Nikon Coolpix P1000 replace it in July 2019.
