Emelisa has been committing murder all her life. But strangely enough, she didn't learn of her crimes until her last victim, her own husband.

When the police got her, Humphrey standing as her defense attorney wants her to stop killing as much as the contrite Emelisa herself wants the killing in her heart to end. Before that can happen though, she feels strongly that the public must know why murder is in her heart, the whole thing making her wonder if she could hang those huge words. For she is just a small figment from the poof of women whom the men that own the world fight fiercely to keep under control.
