Play stance. A gentle opening, an invitation, an animalistic binding agent allowing power dynamics to loosen, become amusing, at once safer and arrestingly topsy-turvy, a trickster invitation to get lost, together. Play stance can be a comfortable place, a deranging joke or surprise arrangement, a life saving gamble in the face of a potential predator. Dolly Rae Star wrote Play Stance between Summer 2018 and the end of 2020. Another lifetime (or several) of far in, deep out, playful adventures and shifts in experience. The Eschaton was Immanentized at CERN on 23rd April 2019. But isn't it always? "Play Stance is a joyous, wondering, exploding exploration, tackling the deeply profound as though they were children's games (or because they are). A treatise on what it is to love life, despite the jagged edges it can throw at us.
