A year after losing her mother; Justice never felt like Meadowcreek was home anymore. Before she pulls away from her old life, her rearview mirror encounters a mystery man. Identifying himself as detective Terry Gentea, he halts Justice's current path out of town. "Do you know a Cliff Radenas?" After learning that her high school sweetheart Cliff was murdered, Justice wants to help however she can; now she's the target of an unknown assailant. Detective Gentea has to solve Cliff's murder with Justice's help while also keeping her safe in a small town. Justice starts questioning everything and everyone in her life as she and Gentea grow closer and struggle to stay focused. Searching for answers she thought she'd known and realizing she had questions that she didn't know existed, she has to try and find out why Cliff was murdered before she joins him in death. Will Cliff's murder be solved or will she fall on her own sword attempting to get justice for a dead man?
