Dustin mounted his trusty bike nicknamed the "Iron Horse". He had to get away, being trapped in the trailer was getting to be too much. Mother would understand. He balanced on the seat of his bike and proceeded quietly in the early morning hours. Dustin pulled the brim of his brand-new cowboy hat down tight. He was as careful as he could be, keeping his leg cast out in front of him as he began to gain speed down the long gravel driveway into his town of Gale. Riding on a bike with a broken leg in a cast was not easy, but Dustin was proving it could be done. The Iron Horse would lead him deep into a land that would test all he had learned in his thirteen years of life. Dustin would soon face the ultimate fork in the road.
