To see this gangly kid with glasses at family events growing up, Micheal seemed to be nothing but normal. He played with his many cousins, he stuffed his face with sweets, and he laughed and laughed and laughed. But what no one knew, what no one could know, was that it was only at these events over his entire childhood that Micheal was not humiliated, hunted and tortured.



The results? Chronic depression and addiction from the age of twelve lasting for four decades. And then a complete mental breakdown at the age of thirty-nine in a violent showdown with law enforcement.
