The Naval Battle Off Cape Sarych James Shneer

In November of 1914 pre-dreadnought and dreadnought capital ships faced off for the first time. The battle took place at the northern end of the Black Sea near Cape Sarych, the southern-most point on the Crimean Peninsula. The book sets the stage for this battle between the fleets of the Ottoman and the Russian Empires, explores the battle in detail, and describes what happened to the participants. All of the ships involved are described and the photographs of most are included as they appear in the narrative.
