The Golden Turntablist
Joseph Wykel
Zeek works as a guitar player in the men's bathroom at a strip club called Jezebel's. After moving, he begins to write a story about the statue marking the entrance of his new, section 8, apartment complex. Alone with his thoughts, Zeek enters completely into the story - he truly begins to consider his muse is a real person. Traveling inside of his version of the story of Orpheus, Zeek has a first hand run through Hades and the horrors therein. Shaken by his ill dream, Zeek awakens to find elements of the story start playing out in his own life - strange passages appear on his desk that he did not write. His neighbor, Samantha, becomes involved in the mystery on their first date when she helps him to transcribe several of these passages.
