Sixteen-year-old Ki's plan was simple: save her parents, end up with her best friend, De, and live happily ever after. Unfortunately, that happy ever after includes becoming a new god and taking on Rising Chaos, the one the other eight gods failed to defeat. Ki resents the assignment, a fact that hinders her new god powers. If she is to save the world, she needs to actually want to be a god. De has always dreamed of being someone amazing and he jumped at the chance of becoming a new god. Alas, he's just the power source for Ki and he's failing at it.
