The original concept of the literary journey started as a novel based on the experiences of a young leader as he developed his skills and sense of self-awareness. In time, the intention of the book became focused on the essential elements of leadership, organization development, and business management that are crucial to success, but, too often completely overlooked in schools of business. As the writing commenced, the journey continued to delve deeper into the capacity of the human spirit that sometimes is beautifully exhibited in the most opportune times. Additionally, and sometimes more dishearteningly, the vacuous depths of inhumanity that can appear at the most inopportune times are explored. While much of the material focuses on the world of business relations, the lessons realized transcend into much greater aspects of life in general.
