The God of the Revelation Francisco Fontiveros
The God of the Revelation
Francisco Fontiveros
If a true almighty God, creator of all that exists, had not revealed himself to mankind, manifesting his power, his divine qualities and laws through his prophets and saints, sometimes with his direct intervention, it would be nothing but a fiction created by the imagination and peremptoriness of human beings. In this case, the world would be somewhat absurd and unknown; there would be no real reason for its existence other than the saturation of its present and limited future. We would live in a maelstrom of senseless transformations, doomed to blind fate, spurred by a frantic inertia of its changes and struggles, making nonsense out of the need to follow a path that leads nowhere. But God shows that human life survives in a tiny, lost place in the cosmos as a sign that He is the eternal light that overcomes darkness and matter; and what appears to be meaningless in such vastness truly lacks in attributed incommensurability before Him.
