This books explores the impacts of using videoconferencing services on IP networks. It compares the performance of the network with videoconferencing on desktop network, using parameters such as bandwidth utilization, packet drop ration, jitter, delay and links utilization, and presents the effect of the introduction of the new videoconferencing service on the quality of service of the existing services.
