Andair is a tiny planet on the outskirts of the Andarian galaxy plagued by war and blood shed between the Arawn's and the Aeron's. Lasair Ja'el is a child when her parents promise her to a man twice her age. But when 4 strangers appear on the horizon of her homeland her life takes on new meaning and a chance of adventure beyond her wildest dreams. Forced to flee her home she finds herself taken in by Dr Sanders of the exploration group called E. C. H. O. S where her life changes when she meets a young solider by the name of Sheridan. As a young woman she is sent to the E. C. H. O. S delta site in her capacity of a linguist under the name Lacey Sanders; can she work alongside Sheridan or will her past catch up with her; taking away the life she wishes to have and forcing on her the life she never wanted.
