The quaint northern town of Indian River has gained two trouble magnets. Misfit number one is Sincerity Dawn Ward the girl who'd never lived with parents, attended a public school, wore blue jeans or participate in any team sport. She clashes with everyone from teachers, wardens or students and has never felt the need to form a relationship with anyone or anything. Perhaps she has no need with her intellect and appearance. Sincerity stands slightly over six feet and has a body to match and attract. If that were not enough she has huge brilliant blue eyes and thick blonde hair dropping to covering a very shapely derriere. Her one and only fixation is Trouble Magnet number 2, a dark-skinned 18-year-old teen who is even less inclined to seek fellowship with students or those about the small town - including Sincerity Cameron Trone is a known loaner that the Indian Band claims was never born, but rather spit out of Lake Wabaguin, onto a dock as an infant, after becoming too evil to inhabit such sacred waters. If local scuttlebutt of his history has any merit, the story may well be true. The only bond between the two is a three-year-old Trone Promise that MUST fulfill. The unbreakable covenant states that the Judge who sentenced Cameron Trone must meet with the conditions stated in the Promise. Inevitably, Sincerity Dawn learns of the intent and connects with the lad - through a suddenly needed impromptu long-weekend camping trip. However, there is a third misfit is en route to Indian River. The arrival of the daughter of the now-diseased Judge. Her connections to Trouble Magnets one and two bring immense repercussions on the entire area and a murder trial that devolves into the release of many deep secrets. Many side mysteries begin to compile during the upcoming trial that leaves the town and the reader wondering where and how this will end. In the meantime, the reader gets to meet some truly delightful characters, even if they do seem a little 'different'.
