"My name is Armageddon. I was named for my birthday." Armageddon Hyde is an investigator for the Church of the Final Millenium. She's completely capable of kicking ass and chewing bubble gum at the same time. She is neither sassy nor perky. Her people have that old time religion, the kind you get from traveling preachers and reading a little too much Revelation. She's making her way across a not-quite-post-apocalyptic landscape in search of her cousin Cherry, who was last seen in the company of Hellfire 'Call me Heck' Price. Hellfire's a churchgoing man too, but it's the wrong church. He belongs to filthy liberal splinter group which embraces modern technology, pharmaceuticals, pork rinds, and other unsavory things. He's handsome. Suave. Mysterious. Slimy. It's been 30 years since The Cloud burst and the information age ended in chaos. The Internet and the federal government are history. Outside the cities, gangs and raiders lurk. Inside, they're probably in charge. To find Cherry, Armageddon must face drugs, battles, temptation, evil corporations, offensive billboards, and one seriously weird bartender...
