Odwyn Ifan Odwyn Jones

Born in the rural farming community of Llwynygroes, in Cardiganshire he now lives in Western Australia. His head tells him he is Australian but his heart that his roots are still deep in the land of his birth. He has lived a full and rich life and achieved more than most. He has worked as a farm labourer and as a miner in the South Wales coal fields. He has travelled extensively and witnessed many things. His view of life shaped by a strong and enduring Faith and by that innate sense of social justice peculiar to the Welsh. His poems and prose reflect this quality covering a global stage and a breadth of social issues.
