The natural world is filled with beauty and mystery. What we see on the surface is only part of the story. There are forces at work deep within. They are called "attractors." At first we get just a glimpse, but as we look deeper, we start to understand the heart of nature. Many natural events seem completely random, but when sampled and plotted in three dimensions, beautiful and intricate patterns emerge!This is a journey of discovery. We are going to have a lot of fun trying to understand things like sparkling gems of light being reflected from the surface of a lake, tree branches blowing in the wind, and dancing flames in a fireplace.
