Did you ever wonder what it's like to live in a fairytale on the Upper West Side, complete with martial arts and super weightlifting powers?I didn't. I just needed a place to stay while living on minimum wage and personal trainer commissions. It wasn't that I didn't believe in fairy tales. I just didn't believe I could be part of one. Instead, I was subsisting on a steady diet of taekwondo, Disney princess virtues, and the dashed hopes of being successful in neither ballet nor the tea industry. (Probably because both required too many carbs.) One reviewer has said that this story isn't your typical growing-up, girl-finds-herself saga.
