37 Bengali poets living abroad, have contributed to this anthology. They have left the country for many different reasons, inhabiting every corner of the globe, but they all have two common grounds: the deep belief that, above their heads, is one single blue roof and a silent love, always awakened in their hearts that is their motherland, Bangladesh. Poetic expression gets changed with the garnering of new experiences. As poets of this book have faced new challenges in new lands, their languages have acquired a deeper dimension and thus became more versatile. Love and anger, dream and reality, all is there. The anthology is 550 pages long and contained 350 poems written by Bengali poets living abroad.
