Reading between the lines is a sublime art. We read that, of which, we at least have a faint idea. Else, we read that which is not meant. Ever wondered as to why do we read books? Not just the prophet.., but the bible, the geeta, the kuran, the japuji saheb or any other book for that matter ? To kill time or is it just a fashion to appear knowledgeable ? Is it just the in-thing today to read self-help books or is it a pulsating passion in us to read our true self as a book ? Or is it that we read a successful author but not what he authored successfully ? Read no further, if fashion makes you read a book. Yeah...please don't, it would be sheer waste of money and precious time. But, if it is a passion which drives you not only to read but also to ponder about what you read and, if it is a passion which not only motivates you to read yourselves but also change yourselves, then, may be you can give this book a try. This book does not promise to change you or provide you with the wisdom to do so. The solitary promise this book makes is that it can serve as a talking mirror, provided, you are willing to gaze into it with an open mind. The success of any book, i believe, is not in how many copies got sold or how many readers did it find. The real success lies in the impact it had on the way we live our life, even if, the numbers are not too impressive or are miniscule. Miniscule, to the point of almost being negligible. This book tries to awake the prophet in all of us.. That, then, is the premise for writing this book..
