In Thoughts Clothed in Words, we study Aristotle's Five Canons of Rhetoric, in addition to dissecting and examining great (and not-so-great) speeches and essays, both historical and contemporary. This course emphasizes academic writing, use of a thesis, proofs, and the senior capstone thesis project. It also covers delivery of speeches from enunciation through debate to defense of the senior thesis project. Thoughts Clothed in Words overhauls the textbooks formerly known as Biblical Worldview Rhetoric I & II.
