She"....sinks into the paper..." in the poem, "the paperlistens". in "phantom friends" she explores all thosefriends who never respond to her even though sheknows they are there. In the poem "washed of sins"she writes, "some never get the dirt off...." and endsone poem with "....on a boulder no one/will be ableto move" and is hopeful "...in the budding bloom ofthe truth" tossing all the boulders aside.
