The top of the page is for your name, date, title, and topic should you ever need to remove a page from your notebook. Below the title, your page is divided into classic Cornell-styled notes. The left third is an unlined column for the headings and main ideas while the right two-thirds is a lined area for your notes of the presentation or lecture-any topic, really. Below the split note-taking area is a focus space for the "Essential Question" of the topic to be considered, followed by a summary area at the bottom of the page. The left third of the bottom is for writing new vocabulary words and the right two-thirds is for your topic summary.
