Al-Muminah's Islamic Studies - I Shaikh

Children are taught academic subjects through simple, lucid and attractive books. However, for teaching Islamic Studies, we are still struggling to give them the best. Firstly, the content matter has to be simplified based on their age and then presented in a way that children love to read. Al-Mu'minah's Islamic Studies Series is an attempt to address this challenge. The series contains Islamic knowledge based on the Qur'an and authentic Ahadeeth. The books have been graded so that the text is class appropriate. The textbook of each grade has been divided into units for better understanding of the subject matter. The language of the lessons and the explanation of the topics are made from the children's perspective. The series aims to acquaint students with the teachings of Islam including belief, practices, moral conduct, biography of the Prophet & and stories of the Prophets. Some topics are presented, using a spiral approach, where students revisit the same topic and study it in greater depths in subsequent years. Please note that the essentials of Islam that need to be memorised by every Muslim have been compiled in another graded series titled `Misbahul-Ilm.' Alhamdulillah, the Misbahul-Ilm Series contains a compilation of essentials of Islam which should be memorised by every Muslim - soorahs of the 30th Juz, Daily Duas, some Ahadeeth, Asma-ul-Husna, various Adhkars, Qur'anic supplications, all with the English translation. The explanation of the memorised soorahs is given in subsequent grades in the Islamic Studies Series so that in one grade the student focuses on the memorisation of the soorah from the Misbahul-Ilm Series and in the subsequent grade the focus is on the explanation of the soorah using the Islamic Studies Series. Thus the two series complement each other to provide comprehensive Islamic education Alhamdulillah.
