Through one man, Abraham who, though heathen sought after Him, then through his descendants, He established a nation through whom He could enter the human race as Messiah and Deliverer of His people and demonstrate His glory. Finally, the book closes with statements, questions or objections to a weekly scheduled day of rest and shows that such reactions only come from our obstinate desire to have our own way, and not to walk on the path that God has established for the benefit and blessing of all mankind.
