Return of the Dragon is a historical sci-fi story that looks at the gaps in the historical record and fills in those areas with the author's imagination. The King Arthur legend is revisited, Stonehenge explained, Atlantis rediscovered. The premise is that there is a four-thousand-year-old sentient spaceship whose builders left here in mankind's prehistory to watch over our fledgling race. The ship has been fighting a creature on and off for the duration of its visit. One of the manifestations of the creature is a dragon, explaining the appearance of this mythical creature in both Western and Oriental cultures.
